Fintiri Mourns Ruler Of Bachama Chiefdom
Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa has portrayed the destruction of the Ruler of Bachama Chiefdom, Stephen Irmiya
, as an incredible misfortune to the state and Nigeria.
Fintiri, who made this known in a sympathy message marked by his Press Secretary, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou, on
Sunday in Yola, stretched out his sympathies to the Bachama realm and the group of the late ruler.
The representative said that the late foremost ruler has made sure about his place in history by his commendable
duty to harmony, solidarity and political dependability of the country and the state.
“Representative Fintiri laments the King’s unexpected destruction especially at a period like this, when His
tremendous experience and imperial stewardship are required.
“The late ruler, who ruled for just eight years, was a valid, genuine, unflinching, submitted and profoundly
trustworthy pioneer whose commitments to the development of current Adamawa through solid help and
exhortation, will be remembered fondly,” Fintiri said.
The senator implored God to concede him endless rest and the family to endure the hopeless misfortune.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the late Hama Bachama was covered on Sunday as indicated by the
Bachama customary rituals in Lamurde, the home office of Bachama chiefdom.
